Video: The Alchemist & Oh No - Vodka & Ayahuasca

Fittingly deranged video for West Coast dream duo The Alchemist’s & Oh No’s psychedelic gutter rap, lifted from the album of the same name, which you can buy here.

Video: Floating Points - Green Sunset Interview

Some really very good music on here, as Sam Shepherd aka Floating Points heads to São Paulo for some true crate digging.

Video: Shabazz Palaces - Are You… Can You… Were You… (Felt)

New visuals from one of the many excellent tracks from SP’s stunning 2011 album ‘Black Up’.

Audio: Massive Attack - Hymn Of The Big Wheel (Egyptrixx Remix)

Gorgeous remix from Night Slugs Egyptrixx man working hard on that Horace Andy vocal from ‘91’s Blue Lines.

Audio: Darkhouse Fam - In & Out EP (Teaser)

Seriously though, who in the UK is making beats as fresh, varied and straight up decent as this? Darkhouse Fam, that’s who.

Stream the teaser from London’s Earnest Endeavour’s here.

Audio: Mr Muthafuckin eXquire - The Bear Trickz (Feat. Golden Glo)

Man of the moment eXquire teams up with Golden Glo (no, we’ve never heard of him either) for this joint which isn’t on either of his mixtapes.

So it’s new. New eXquire. Huzzah (yeah, that was deliberate).

Download: Pavy - Middle Class Ignorance

It’s been a long time coming, as Pavy explains:

“This project was crafted over a period of two years… I was 18 when I started and when I finished I was what I am now, 20. So the idea of Middle Class Ignorance has changed as my mindframe has also changed. I feel ignorance – or the sense of obliviousness – is very important in life, because if I logically looked at the odds I would never attempt to succeed in music. I feel like this is the beginning of life for me and hopefully you guys like the music enough to tag along for the ride.”

Audio: Baobinga & Guido - Ice Black

2012 looks like the year one of our favourite bass producers returns, as Bristol’s Guido posts up a free download of his orchestral grime, this time with fellow low-end friend, Baobinga.

Download on the player above.

Audio: DJ Clock feat. Smash The Captain - You Took My Love

If you’re not onto DJ Clock yet, you really need to be. One of South Africa’s leading house exports, Clock is set to release his fourth album Fourth Tick later this year, and we’re guessing this brand new track featuring vocalist Smash The Captain may well be a taster.

Download it on the player above.

Video: Nicki Minaj - Stupid Hoe

Without going into the finer points of Nicki Minaj’s cultural relevence, she is if anything, entertaining. Plus it’s not everyday you have a rapper name drop Roman Polanski whilst spitting about ‘pissing on bitches’. Odd.

Audio: Blondes - Water (Bicep Remix)

Posting alot of techno at the minute, but it’s out there so… y’know.

We hit up the Bicep guys again and came across this stunning 8 minute rework of NYC slow-house experimenters Blondes. This one really is beautifully done - perfect Sunday dawn music basically.

Check out the full release via RVNG on February 7.

Audio: Bullion - What Does She Know / Say Arr Err

Did we forget to post this? That we did.

Absolute gold from one of our long time favourite UK producers Bullion. This man has a wealth of treats under his belt already, and this release on Belgium’s legendary techno-come-‘leftfield’ label R&S has to be one of, if not the finest pairing of tracks that the recently reinvigorated label has issued over the past two years.

Stream the superb B-side Say Arr Err above, and cop the release on January 30.

Audio: Heems - You Have To Ride The Wave (Feat. Danny Brown & Mr Muthafuckin eXquire)

Freaks unite for this, from Heems’ (of Das Racist) new mixtape, Nehru Jackets, which is recommended and available, here.

Heems’ Twitter makes for interesting reading, too. Have a look, here.
